Fun for the Entire Family at Kennedy Park
Sunday, Aug. 7 ~ Noon to 3:00 P.M.
Mayor John E. McCormac, Councilman Jim Major, the Mayor’s Wellness Campaign, and Iselin residents and neighbors will celebrate Iselin Day 2011 with a wellness walk, fitness events and sport activities, and a community festival and picnic on Sun., Aug. 7 at Kennedy Park in Iselin .
Iselin Day is a celebration of community and highlights recent improvements to Kennedy Park – a new walking/bike path, remodeled baseball/softball fields, installation of a cricket field, and new recreational equipment. The festival includes FREE health & wellness activities, games, music, food, and the Iselin community spirit. Jump and play in the bounce house… learn drumming for fitness… enjoy face painting, crafts, hula hoops, rock climbing wall, basketball competition, cricket games, kickball, and more. Please bring a can… or two… or three of non-perishable food for donation to “We Feed Woodbridge ” which supports Woodbridge Township food banks and food pantries.
