Beginning tomorrow, August 6th, through the 7th, Parker Press Park in Woodbridge will be transformed into a scene depicting the Civil War era. Presented by the Robert E. Lee War Roundtable of Central New Jersey, daily events will include soldiers’ drills, weapons demonstrations, a book sale, a battlefield skirmish, and illustrations of camp life, among many other things. The highlight of the weekend will be the Saturday evening candle-light tour through the Soldiers’ camps, which begins at 8:30 pm. Both admission and parking is free from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm Saturday and Sunday.
