Priya Mukherjee of Iselin is one of 12 New York area regional winners in the Kohl’s Department Stores’ Kohl’s Cares® Scholarship Program. Mukherjee, 12, was chosen from more than 37,000 nominees nationwide to receive a $1,000 scholarship for post-secondary education. Mukherjee co-founded the nonprofit organization Dance for Life USA to generate cancer awareness and has raised $3,000 for cancer research.
