JFK Academics

The first of the three A's - the Academics - is something JFK can be proud of. Students did very well on the HSPA (High School Profficiency Assessment) testing. According to the State of NJ Website,
"The High School Proficiency Assessment is used to determine student achievement in reading, writing, and mathematics as specified in the New Jersey Core Curriculum Content Standards."
Basically, it's the test you must pass in order to graduate.

This year, the highest percentage ever here at Kennedy passed... 95.5% passed the Language Arts section, and 92.5% passed the Math section. These are excellent grades for our school.
