Iselin Boy Scouts Mark Great Achievements

There are plenty of Scouts in Iselin. And they are very busy people.

This week, Boy Scout Troop 31 will host their annual Eagle Dinner, honoring four boys who have earned the rank of Eagle Scout this past year. George Nichtern and Michael Maglione of Iselin are to be honored along with Ryan Maccie and Matt Juba, both of Carteret. Troop 31, which meets every Tuesday at St. Anthony's Church in Port Reading, has members from throughout the area.

Patrick Daniels, who will also attend the dinner, will be watching. He hopes to be one of the honorees for next year. Patrick has completed all of the requirements except for an Eagle Project, scheduled for Saturday, May 22nd. He will landscape around the sculpture "Pablo's Girl," located at Bernie Anderson Park on Route 35 in Woodbridge.
