Eagle Scout Dinner

An Eagle Scout Dinner was held tonight to honor four Eagle Scouts from Troop 31 of Port Reading. From left, George Nichtern of Iselin, Matt Juba of Carteret, Ryan Maccie of Carteret, and Michael Maglione of Iselin at their ceremony which was held at the Woodbridge Ambulance and Rescue Squad in Iselin.

George is a senior at John F. Kennedy Memorial High School and plans to study architecture at Johnson College. Matt is a senior at St. Joseph's High School and plans to attend Immaculata University where he will study to become a teacher. Ryan is a senior at St. Joseph's High School and plans to study accounting at Temple University. Michael is a graduate of John F. Kennedy Memorial High School and is currently attending Middlesex County College; he hopes to be a Physical Education Teacher.

Eagle Scout is the highest advancement rank in Boy Scouting. It is a great achievement, with only about 5 percent of all Boy Scouts earning the Eagle Scout rank.

Congratulations, Gentlemen!
