The Pneubotic Mustangs are still in the race!

JFK's first robotics team, the Pneubotic Mustangs, competed in Trenton yesterday and are back at the competition again today.  Attending the competition yesterday and today are team members Willy Jones, Allison Jones, Varun Vemuganti, Patrick Daniels, Sanket Chauhan, and Dhvanit Patel.

The Robotics Competition, which is held in Trenton, is heated, yet still very civil.  "Gracious Professionalism" is a pillar of the event and the organization.  So this means that although (of course) you want your team to win, you are also willing to assist other teams if they need anything.

The robot is driven remotely to pick up an inner tube, drive across the playing field, and place the inner tube on a peg.  It is not as easy as it sounds, especially when you realize that the robot is built and programmed by high school students!

Good Luck JFK!
