Angel PAWS, located at 490 Inman Ave in Colonia, has recently experienced a high rate of returns on cats that have been previously adopted. Those cats, along with some recent rescues and cats that have been in the shelter for a while, have left no room for any more rescues. Finances are extremely tight right now and donations are down. Many of the returns are a result of their owners being unable to care for their cats due to the cost of vet care, food and supplies. Others have been returned due to owner deaths. Angel PAWS is hoping that there are people out there who will read about some of the cats profiled in this article and will come in to apply to adopt these wonderful cats.
There are so many cats, and so many sad stories. The many cats at Angel PAWS are waiting for their forever homes. Please stop in during our public hours to see our cats. We are open to the public Monday through Friday from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM and on Saturday and Sunday from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM
